How to make Broccoli & Cauliflower Recipe in the Air Fryer

Besides being a delicious side, you can use these veggies in salads, veggie tacos, in a veggie wrap or even on a pizza! Here’s how to make them:

  1. Cut all broccoli and cauliflower into florets
  2. In a large bowl add florets, sprinkle with olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh Parmesan cheese
  3. Add 1/4 cup water into bottom of basket – not enough to come up through tray. This will help steam the veggies and not over crisp them.
  4. Place broccoli & cauliflower in air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry at 350º for 7 minutes
  5. Open basket and shake to toss, sprinkle lightly with additional olive oil and parmesan cheese
  6. Air fry an additional 7 minutes
  7. Remove and serve with butter and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice

Tips, Tricks & FAQs

How do you store and reheat leftover broccoli & cauliflower?

Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave for 1 minute.

Can you use frozen broccoli and cauliflower?

Yes – but it won’t get crispy like fresh cauliflower and broccoli! I always recommend fresh so it maintains a bite.

Can you roast broccoli and cauliflower in the oven?

Yes – spread out on a baking sheet and bake at 425º for 30 minutes.

Is there a way to keep my air fryer clean more easily?

Sure – parchment paper liners definitely help keep it clean. Remove the liner and jut give it a quick rinse.
