On a recent visit to Atlanta, I had to head to the Hot Dog Factory! It’s been in numerous episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta and I wanted to experience it! I tried a lot of menu items including the Hawaiian Hot Dog and it was sooo good! Bacon, cheese, pineapple and bbq sauce – yum!
I’m a big fan of hot dogs – so I was in heaven with their menu! We asked the counter guy what the best sellers were and this was one of them! So let’s dig in!

What should I get at Hot Dog Factory?

Man oh man – you can’t really go wrong with anything! The Carolina Slaw Dog was delicious as well. We also tried onion rings, deep fried Oreos and corn dog nuggets! It was all delicious! We were really surprised at how good everything was and both said we would definitely go back!

What are the best hot dogs?

I love Nathan’s Hot Dogs – I think they are by far the best hot dogs out there. If those aren’t available – then I would get Hebrew National. I think they’re beefy and just have a lot more flavor than any other brands.

What’s the best way to cook hot dogs?

My favorite way to cook a hot dog is in the air fryer! I love my Philips XL air fryer and they cook perfectly at 350 for 5 minutes. They are basically grilling them for you in the air fryer! Perfect every time!

While on my visit to Atlanta – I visited a bunch of restaurants and came home and went to town with copycat recipes! Some of my favorites were the Deep Fried Deviled Eggs from Old Lady Gang as well as the Macaroni & Cheese and Chicken Fried Chicken from Mary Mac’s Tea Room!
