Kids Eat Free at O'Charleys thru Labor Day!

One of my favorite restaurants on my still fairly-new-to-me exit is O’Charleys! I didn’t have one anywhere near me when I lived in Colerain so it’s become quite a staple for us.

Well now – a bunch more people should be heading in their doors because now thru September 5th – just in time for back to school – KIDS EAT FREE!!! All day, every day – kids 10 & under get a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal. (This is my friend Ava – isn’t she adorable?!)

So when you’re out shopping for hours on end – checking everything off that back-to-school list – head to O’Charley’s to take a load off and a chunk off the check – because the kids are free! Woohoo!

We started out with their famous yeast rolls – they’re hot and super soft and – thank you Baby Jesus – served with soft butter!!! There really is nothing I love more than soft butter – okay maybe a few things (Peyton Manning, my dogs, reality tv) – but it’s up there!

I tend to order something different every time I go to a restaurant – my husband is the opposite! He’ll get the same thing every time – once he finds a winner – it’s his for life.

His winner is the Bacon Bourbon Filet Mignon – it’s a 7 oz center cut filet mignon topped with their smoky bourbon glaze and chopped applewood-smoked bacon. He chose mashed potatoes and broccoli to go with the steak.

I hadn’t been feeling the best for the previous day and decided I needed some comfort food and at O’Charley’s – that is hands down their chicken tenders. They are the best in town in my opinion – dipped in buttermilk, hand-breaded twice and cooked fresh to order. I got them with the Twisted Chips (so good) and two sides of Honey Mustard. I need one dish for the chips and one for the tenders!!! I can never finish them all – but the pups are happy to get a doggie bag when I get home.

I also took home a piece of their famous pie – oh how I love pie from O’Charley’s. But I got so excited to dig in that I forgot to take a picture. The Pecan Pie was delicious!

So be sure to take advantage of the great deal at O’Charley’s through Labor Day where Kids Eat Free! You can choose from Mac & Cheese, Grilled Chicken, Chicken Tenders, Kids Pizza, Kids Burger, Mini Corn Dogs, Bite Size Shrimp or Grilled Cheese. Most meals include one side and all include a drink. You can choose from broccoli, oranges, carrot sticks, french fries, applesauce or smashed potatoes as a side.
